Create a Customer Avatar/ 18A
The avatar I created for my restaurant is actually an entrepreneur herself. She runs a small business that sells unique handmade jewelry online. Her job allows her to have plenty of time to stay at home with her two small children. Her kids, husband and herself are all vegetarians making them big fans of my restaurant (the only vegetarian restaurant in Ocala). Her family lives in an average sized home where they try to live simply and healthily. All groceries are bough organic and fresh produce is purchased from the local farmers market. She even does some gardening herself and has a mini farm in her back yard with goats and chickens!
Even though she greatly cares for the environment and living in a way that doesn't harm other beings, she does not like getting involved in politics. She will however, stand up for animal rights and support groups who fight for their fair treatment. Her main goals are to focus on living a good life and doing what she believes is right as an individual and teaching her kids to do the same.
When she isn't pushing a jogging stroller around the park, she drives a Volvo XC90. Her car is big enough for her family, very reliable and also environmentally friendly (for an SUV).
I have a lot in common with my avatar of course. We have the same kind of beliefs on living the best life we can without causing problems or stirring the pot. But we also don't want to be walked on and still stand up for what we believe in. As far as the career, car she drives, having a backyard farm... these are all things I would love to have and hope to get one day. It was easy drawing out her life because I just picture myself being the best customer for my restaurant and people like me would also love my restaurant!
I loved reading about your avatar! I can definitely see this type of person being someone who would enjoy a restaurant like yours. I think this would be your primary type of customer, but I also think you are going to have a very diverse set of customers. I am a lot different than I can see your average customer being, but I think I would enjoy your restaurant a lot!

It seemed like your perfect avatar is very similar to yourself. I think your restaurant could really appeal to the vegetarian community in Gainesville as a meeting and hangout spot, since your ideal customer is passionate about a variety of subjects others might be interested in as well.
