Halfway Reflection/ 14A
1) Tenaciousness is a competency- To keep up with the requirements of this class, I have had to be very creative. The assignments are extremely similar to the others so writing something interesting to read that isn't the same thing over and over again has forced me to think differently.
2) Tenaciousness is also about attitude.- As mentioned above, the assignments are very redundant and a little silly. For example, the "Forming Opportunity" assignment was silly because I knew what the problem was and why people had it, but I still had to interview people what the problem was and why they had it... I got a lot of "Uhhhhh.... huh?"'s in my interviews. It was a little embarrassing.
3) Three tips.
#1 Start early so you have time to make your assignments make sense. People are actually reading them so rushing your assignments makes them a little dull and boring.
#2 Don't be dull and boring. There is a lot of redundancy in this class and it gets a little silly sometimes so try to be creative and change things up or think about assignments in a different way.

I would definitely agree. Thinking differently is one thing I've used. I can see where you're coming from with feeling like it's silly but I like to take it with a positive attitude and really try to be creative and find people with unique purposes for my opportunity. And those are great tips. Like stated before this class is a marathon and there always needs something to improve on. Good post!
ReplyDeleteIt definitely is very difficult to not get extremely repetitive. It seems like me are just doing the same tasks over and over again. I guess this is because it is important to get feedback on our ideas from a broad audience of people. As in all statistics the greater your sample size the more accurate the data you collect will be.
ReplyDeleteYeah, definitely creativeness is one of the most important part. I highly agree with the very first assignment, that was the hardest homework i've ever had since i get into college. I spent whole week to figure out my errors and complaints. Interview was tough also, but I enjoyed talking and sharing ideas of the subjects.
